About this event
WHAT:
The purpose of the “Game Changers” Impact Conference is to promote excellence in academics and athletics. The goal of this one day conference is to height the awareness of academic excellence, to encourage our young men to strive for success in the educational process and all areas of their lives. Our Rudolph W. Snowden Memorial Scholarship information will also be presented at the conference.
WHO and WHERE:
The conference is geared towards African-American middle and high school aged males (11-17) in Montgomery County and the nearby communities. We seek to impact the lives of more than 300 to 500 boys to encourage, educate and empower young people in Montgomery County.
INTENT:
This initiative is intended to empower and encourage our young black males to reach their full potential so that the family unit can be strengthened.
Tickets for the Game Changers Conference on Saturday, April 20 are on sale
through the website for $10 per child. There is a group rate
of $7 per child for groups with ten or more children. Please use the web site
to register your students(s) or you can mail check to 18222 Flower Hill Way
#185, Gaithersburg, MD 10877, or we can put tickets on hold at the door, but
we will need an exact number of students and a FIRM confirmation.
