Each blood donor will be given a free one-week guest pass to Gold's Gym. - ONLINE SCHEDULING AVAILABLE - To register online with the American Red Cross for this event, click the "Blood Drive Sign-Up" button. Donor’s will log in under “Donors Log-in here” and plug in the Sponsor ID 15051. Follow the direction screens from that point forward.
About this event
Dr. Charles R. Drew was a member of our Illustrious Fraternity who developed techniques for blood storage. He
protested against the practice of racial segregation in the donation of
blood from donors of different races since it lacked scientific
foundation. He was the first African American surgeon to serve as an
examiner on the American Board of Surgery.
